PhotoPlus Expo will feature over 100 educational seminars, Photo Walks, Intensive Classes and Master Classes, and over 200 exhibitors displaying thousands of the latest products and services for you to touch, try and compare at the Javits Center from October 25 to October 28, 2017, in New York City.

Designed for professionals in the photographic and imaging industries as well as enthusiasts, PhotoPlus Expo showcases the latest advances in photography, digital imaging and filmmaking. Held annually at the Javits Convention Center, attendees have the opportunity to explore an inspiring array of photography and imaging products and services - all from the industry's leading manufacturers. The show also offers seminars and intimate Photo Walks and Master Classes taught by world-renowned experts that focus on cutting-edge innovations and techniques.

Renowned Tech Experts and Entrepreneurs Gary Vaynerchuk and Chase Jarvis: Saturday Keynote, Oct. 28 at 12:30-1:30 p.m.

In this seminar, Chase Jarvis and Gary Vaynerchuk will entertain and inspire with high-energy conversation and help the audience understand where they can improve their ability to make a living and spend a lifetime doing what they love.

Gary Vaynerchuk is a four-time New York Times bestselling author, speaker and internationally recognized internet personality. Vaynerchuk first became known as a leading wine critic who grew his family’s wine business from $3 million to $60 million. He is best known, however, as a digital marketing and social-media pioneer and the CEO and co-founder of VaynerMedia.
He is also an angel investor and advisor to Uber, Birchbox, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr, among others as well as a regular keynote speaker at global entrepreneurship and technology conferences around the world.

Chase Jarvis is an award-winning photographer, director and entrepreneur. He has shot campaigns for Nike, Apple, Samsung, Google, and Red Bull and his photographs have appeared in every nearly major network and media outlet, including the New York Times’ Pulitzer Prize-winning story SNOWFALL. He is also the founder and CEO of CreativeLive, the world’s largest online education platform for creatives and entrepreneurs with over 10,000 hours of education taught by the world’s top experts. He lives with his wife Kate, splits time between Seattle and San Francisco, and serves as a volunteer director for several non-profit boards.

Jamel Shabazz on Making Photos, and Making a Difference: Friday Keynote, Oct. 27 at 12:30-1:30pm

For over 35 years, renowned street photographer Jamel Shabazz has been making images driven by a mission “to inspire peace and harmony.” In this keynote presentation, he’ll show images from some of his half-dozen photo books, including Back in The Days, the groundbreaking bestseller that remains in print more than 15 years after its debut, and his recent collection, Sights in the City. He’ll share the stories behind his most iconic photos, his enduring connection to the young people he photographed, and his commitment to sharing what was best in his community. In this motivational talk, he’ll share his optimistic commitment to using photography as a force for good.

PW15 - Automotive Photography on Location at the Classic Car Club of Manhattan with Mark Jenkinson and Kathryn Greenbaum

Join Mark Jenkinson for a Photo Walk at Classic Car Club Manhattan on Manhattan’s West Side Highway, where you’ll learn the ins and outs of shooting automobiles on location.
