Gowanus Open Studios, aka GOS, is the weekend of October 21 - 22, 2017, with artists in the Gowanus neighborhood (and slightly beyond) opening their studio doors and welcoming the public to view art, meet the artists, learn about the process of art-making, and get a glimpse of the life of artists.
Mark D Phillips' 25-year photographic documentation - “25 Years of Gowanus: As it WAS, As it IS” - will be featured for one weekend during the Gowanus Open Studio Tour on Oct. 21 – 22, 2017, at Movers, Not Shakers! corporate headquarters along the polluted Brooklyn waterway.
