The Sopranos Invade South Brooklyn Paulie Walnuts (Tony Sirico) and Rosalie Aprile (Sharon Angela) wait outside Christ Church in Cobble Hill, renamed Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church for the episode.The Sopranos took over the landmark church to film a wedding for the sixth season of the HBO series featuring the marriage of Mob boss Johnny "Sack" Sacramoni's daughter. On one of the hottest days of the year in Brooklyn, even the actors looked for ways to stay cool, making use of battery powered mini-fans. Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) takes a cigar break outside the church late in the afternoon. If you're interested, AJ (Robert Iler) and Meadow (Jamie-Lynn Discala) are looking down at their fainted father (Tony) on the steps in front of the church! |
